Family and friends are mourning the death of a 7-year-old boy, who perished in an RV fire in Goshen. A 10-year-old boy was brought by helicopter to the hospital and five others were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries and smoke inhalation. When Goshen firefighters arrived at the scene on North 21st Street at about 6:50 a.m. Sunday, the pull-behind type recreational vehicle the family was using as a home was engulfed. Injured in the fire were two adults and three other children ages 13, 8 and an infant. Authorities do not suspect any foul play was at hand.
