News Release
WARSAW — Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts is thrilled to announce a $60,000 matching opportunity in support of its upcoming summer season and ongoing artistic and educational programming.
A group of generous donors, including Judd and Nancy Mason, Patricia Brennan See, The Phipps Charitable Fund, and Pat Newcombe, have come together to match every donation, dollar for dollar, up to $60,000 in support of Wagon Wheel’s current summer fundraising campaign.
Reaching the $60,000 goal means every donation will be doubled, significantly expanding support for Wagon Wheel’s award-winning professional productions, youth education programs, and community engagement efforts across the region.
“Our service to this community is only possible through the generosity of those who champion our mission,” said Kira Lace Hawkins, Outreach and Education Director at Wagon Wheel. “We are incredibly grateful to these four dedicated donors whose collective support will double the impact of this campaign.”
“As a nonprofit, Wagon Wheel belongs to its community, and this campaign invites everyone whose lives have been touched by Wagon Wheel to play a part in sustaining the special work we do,” said Carrie Vrabel, Development Coordinator. “Donations of every size matter, and now each one will go twice as far to support the transformative performances and meaningful educational opportunities we bring to our community.”
Each year, Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts:
-
Serves approximately 45,000 patrons
-
Is consistently recognized as one of the top tourist attractions in Kosciusko County
-
Welcomes more than 4,800 schoolchildren to educational field trip performances, providing many students with their first live professional theatre experience
-
Educates and inspires more than 370 children and teens through Conservatory and youth theatre programming
Community members are invited to be part of this effort and help launch the upcoming summer season with twice the impact. To make a tax-deductible contribution, visit wagonwheelcenter.org/donate or call the Box Office at (574) 267-8041.
