ELKHART — One person suffered a serious head injury after the bu.ggy he was riding in collided with a pickup truck on SR 13, around 2 p.m. Thursday
According to authorities, a Ram 3500 was heading south on S.R. 13 north of County Road 34, shortly after 2 p.m.
According to investigators, the driver of a Ram truck didn’t see the buggy in front of him until he was too close to stop.
Deputies say he tried to avoid the buggy, but an oncoming vehicle kept him from leaving the lane.
The buggy’s occupant was airlifted to Memorial Hospital with severe head trauma
