The annual donation event to help out Combined Community Services’ food pantry is coming this weekend.
Food-a-thon will take place at Combined Community Services in Warsaw this coming Friday and Saturday, accepting non-perishable food items to help CCS get stocked up for the upcoming holiday and winter seasons.
CCS Executive Director Randy Polston says the need has been great this year and there has been a constant need to keep the pantry stocked. With the holiday’s right around the corner, a need for Thanksgiving items is one that will be a hot commodity.
That’s CCS’ Director of Emergency Assistance Tim Frame. Food-a-thon will go from 6 AM to 6 PM on Friday and 9 AM to 2 PM on Saturday. The event will be Drive Thru. Donations can be dropped at CCS, located at 1195 Mariner’s Drive near the YMCA in Warsaw. Door prizes will be given away throughout the event to those who donate.
