Anthony “Tony” W. Silveus

Anthony “Tony” W. Silveus, 73, of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, February 20, 2022, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw, Indiana.

Born on January 15, 1949, in Warsaw, Indiana, Tony was the son of James “Mac” and Jeanne (Best) Silveus.

He graduated with the class of 1967 from Warsaw Schools. He was formerly employed as a Director Dealer Division of Lassus Brothers, Oil Co. and was the prior owner and partner of Silveus and Bradway Oil Company in Warsaw, Indiana. Tony enjoyed golfing, bowling, and softball and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Warsaw, Warsaw Elks Club, and American Legion Post #49.

Tony will be lovingly remembered by his children, Stephanie Lynn Kelm, of Mosier, OR, Ithica Silveus Gainey, Doug (Melissa) Yarian, both of Warsaw, Chad (Fayth) Silveus of Winona Lake; siblings, James “Chris” (Mary) Silveus of Indianapolis, PattiJean (Tom) Cullen of Suwanee, GA, Scott (Melissa) Silveus of Warsaw, Toby (Tony) Sumpter of Williamsport, PA, Renee’ (Bert Kabana) Tripp of Warsaw, and Lisa (Ahmet) Savasir of Indianapolis. In addition, he is survived by his grandchildren, Josh Estes, Mosier, OR, Noah Estes, Santa Fe, NM, Alec (Diamond) Gainey, Warsaw, Nilsson Silveus, Santa Teresa, NM, Violet Silveus, Winona Lake, and two great grandchildren, Ohmana and Zena. He was preceded in passing by both parents and sister Vicky Clemens.

Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Warsaw, on Friday March 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.  Father Jonathan Norton will officiate the Funeral Mass. Calling hours will be held 2 hours prior from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Church. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery, Warsaw. McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw is entrusted with arrangements for the family.
