Bingo for Beaman taking place Oct. 20

As part of October’s Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the Beaman Home Emergency Shelter and Outreach Center for victims of domestic violence invite the public to join the fun and support the shelter by participating in the annual Bingo fundraiser Oct. 20 at the Center Lake Pavilion in Warsaw.

Participants are urged to get their tickets in advance, since the annual event sold out last year. Tickets are $25 advance and $30 at the door. Ticket price includes bingo cards, a meal and a chance to win a door prize. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Bingo prizes include multiple Vera Bradley items, jewelry, scarves, auto safety tools, autographed Colts photo, baskets of goodies for both men and women, gift cards to local restaurants and stores, men’s and women’s sunglasses with cases and many other great items.

Indiana gaming regulations restrict participants to those 18 and over.

Advance tickets may be purchased at the Beaman Home’s new campus at 603 Parker St., Warsaw, or call 574-703-0722.  Those interested also may email AltrusaWarsaw@gmail.com.

All proceeds benefit the programs and service of the Beaman Home, which has served this community’s domestic violence victims and their dependent children for over 30 years.
Coordinating the fundraiser are members of Altrusa International of Warsaw who established the Beaman Home in 1985.
