The blowing and drifting snow Tuesday morning has made for some travel troubles for those on the road.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to numerous calls throughout the morning for vehicles that have gone off the road, including one car that flipped over onto it’s top west of Warsaw.

A combination of snow overnight and freezing drizzle that fell during Monday evening layered ice on the roadways, and the blowing snow caused some drifting along many north/south roads.

More snow is expected, especially north of US 30 throughout the day, but it is expected to taper off Tuesday evening.

Temperatures will be warming to near 50 degrees toward the end of the week, wiping away any of the snow and ice that has fallen. However more chances for snow come in during the weekend.
