The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department is investigating after a body was found Monday afternoon in New Paris. It happened around 1:40 p.m. in the 67000 block of C.R. 23. Police say the body of 33-year-old Lecia Borzeniatow was found inside a home. The Elkhart County Sheriff's Department is working with the Elkhart County Coroner's Office to determine a cause of death. An autopsy will be scheduled.
