With the new year and decade officially underway, the United States Census Bureau is looking for census takers.
Mayor Joe Thallemer made mention of the need during Monday’s Common Council meeting, saying that the need is critical this year as census takers are down. He also mentioned that it is important for residents to participate in the census this year and that it is vital for various reasons and funding for the city.
The position is a paid one and schedules can vary. Informational brochures to be a census taker are available at Warsaw City Hall, or you can go online to 2020census.gov/jobs for more information.
