A fugitive from Columbia City was recently apprehended in West Virginia.
Indiana State Police say a cooperative effort with the Whitley County Sheriff’s Office and the West Virginia State Police located the man, 46-year old Jeffrey Lamont Johnson, at a home in West Virginia. A felony arrest warrant was issued for Johnson on November 5th, charging him with a felony count of dealing a controlled substance resulting in death.
Johnson was taken into custody on Monday, currently in jail in West Virginia awaiting extradition back to Indiana.
