Cops Growing Beards for ‘Hair for the Holidays’

Cops in Kosciusko County are growing out beards for a good cause through the end of the year.

Hair for the Holidays started on November 1st, and is going through the end of the year. In order to participate, employees have to pay for each month. In turn, male employees are able to grow beards and the female staff members were entered into a raffle for a salon day. A dinner will take place in January, at which point the men will shave and the raffle will occur.

The funds raised during this go towards Christmas with a Cop, a program intended to foster the relationship between the youth of our community and law enforcement; while providing clothing and toys to those in need.
