Several Easter-themed events are happening across Kosciusko County this Saturday.

The Kosciusko County Fair Board is holding its annual Easter Egg Hunt. 28,000 eggs will be hidden across the fairgrounds with gates opening at noon. Participants are asked to bring their own baskets for egg collecting.

The age group and locations are as follows:

  • 1 p.m.—1-2 year olds on the midway
  • 1:10 p.m.— 3-5 year olds on the basketball court
  • 1:20 p.m.— 6-9 year olds in the track area
  • 1:30 p.m.—10-12 year old in the cabin area

Titus Funeral Home in Warsaw has their second annual Easter Egg Extravaganza at noon. The Easter Bunny will make an appearance at that event for free family photos. There will be a bounce house, over 4,000 eggs, and emergency vehicles will be on display.

American Legion Post 258 will hold their annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Pierceton Community Park at 1 p.m.

Even your pets can get involved– the Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County is hosting an Easter Bone Hunt where dogs can search for treats at the shelter. It was originally scheduled for this Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., but due to weather it has been moved to Saturday April 27.
