ADAMS COUNTY (Network Indiana) — An Indiana man has been fined for killing a bald eagle.

Samuel Graber, 24, of Berne, Ind., must pay $5,000 after pleading guilty in federal court to unlawfully killing a migratory bird. Graber was given a suspended sentence, ordered to complete six months’ probation, and pay a fine.
