With no winners, the Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots continue to climb.
The jackpot for Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing is $615 million, while the prize in Wednesday’s Powerball drawing is $550 million.
Both top prizes pale in comparison the largest-ever lotto prize, a Powerball jackpot of $1.58 billion won by three people in 2016.
While the games can be incredibly fun to play, the chances of winning are very small. The odds of winning the Powerball prize are one in 292.2 million, and the odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are one in 302.5 million.
