The Echoes of the Past will be collecting toys to benefit the Toys for Tots program in Kosciusko County.

The program began in 1947 and is overseen by the United States Marine Corps.

The club will be working in conjunction with Dave Morales and local coordinator Chris Cage, according to a news release from Echoes of the Past.

The Toys for Tots campaign collected 7,797 toys in 2020 and distributed them to 2,820.

The Echoes of the Past members are hoping to fill the club’s tram with new toys to give to children in the area. Those wanting to help the club fill its tram with new unwrapped toys may drop them off at one of three locations:

• Splendor Boats, 650 E. Winona Ave., Warsaw, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday for drop-off in the showroom, or in Silver Lake at the Splendor Boat showroom, 9526 Ind. 15, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

• Tractor Supply Company, 3294 U.S. 30E, Warsaw, Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Collection of toys is happening Dec. 1. Look for the marked boxes in the drop-off locations, the news release states.
