A 16 year old Elkhart boy has been charged with murder. Elkhart County Prosecuting Attorney, Curtis T. Hill, Jr. has authorized the formal charge of murder against Jwan L. Hardin in connection with the April 14, 2015 shooting death of 14 year old Dezjuan Sanders in Elkhart. A warrant has been issued for Hardin's arrest, after witnesses came forward saying they saw him shoot Sanders. Hardin should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information as to his whereabouts should immediately contact the Elkhart Police Department Homicide Unit or any law enforcement agency to report that information.
