The flu vaccine is best delivered this year through the shot, according to experts. The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and the Centers for Disease Control are strongly recommending the shot over the mist nasal spray this year for children under the age of 18.
The nose spray, which has the live virus, failed to offer the necessary immunity last year when the public was confronted with several different strains of flu.
