Former Assistant Coach Sentenced In Sex Case

A former West Noble High School assistant wrestling coach will not go to jail for his relationship with a student.
Kosciusko Superior Court I  Judge David Cates on Thursday sentenced Kevin Marsh, 22, Ligonier, to one year probation on the charge of sexual misconduct with a minor.
Marsh pleaded guilty to the charge on Feb. 2.
Marsh also was ordered to receive counseling.
The charges result from a 2016 investigation into Marsh’s relationship with the underage girl.
West Noble High School officials contacted the Noble County Sheriff’s Department of the sexual relationship between Marsh and a student in February 2016.
During the investigation, it was revealed that all the sexual activity occurred in Kosciusko County, including once at a game preserve, according to court records.
Noble County officials forwarded the case to the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, which subsequently arrested Marsh.
