FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) — A Fort Wayne woman who pleaded guilty to fatally stabbing her husband during an altercation in a parking lot has been sentenced to 32 1/2 years in prison.

An Allen County judge sentenced 25-year-old Jamie Marsee on Monday in the death of 24-year-old Austin Harrison. She pleaded guilty in February to voluntary manslaughter and invasion of privacy in his death.

The Journal Gazette reports that Marsee told police she went to her husband’s workplace at Midwest Pipe and Steel in May 2020 to get a child’s car seat from Harrison. She told officers she became enraged and retrieved a knife after he threw the car seat.
