Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department will host free canoeing at Center Lake Saturday. The event is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Canoes are available for community use on a first-come first-serve basis. All equipment and life vests are provided for participants. Participants will be briefed on safety measures prior to canoeing and will be supervised by staff. An annual waiver must be on file for each participant and must be signed by a parent for anyone under age 18.
No registration is required. The canoes launch behind Center Lake Pavilion and Kiddie Land playground. All canoeing is weather-permitting.
