The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting on Sunday evening just outside of Rochester.
Deputies responded to a home in the 1000-block of County Road 400 East at 6:24 PM, where officers discovered that there was a domestic disturbance at that residence, finding that shots were fired and one person was struck. That person was taken to Woodlawn Hospital, then to a Fort Wayne hospital for their injuries. Their condition is currently unknown.
The Sheriff said no arrests were made at this time, but one interview was done. He said with mitigating circumstances, a prosecutor will be reviewing the case and a decision to press charges will be made following the review.
