Goshen Mayor Jeremy Stutsman has ordered flags at city offices to be lowered to half-staff today and tomorrow and is inviting residents to do the same. It’s in honor of Goshen Police Officer Kevin Koontz, who passed away Monday after a battle with cancer.
Koontz served the community for 29 years, and then returned to serve as a Special Police Officer for another three years.
His viewing will be Friday from 10 to Noon at Grace Community Church, followed by a funeral at 1 PM.
