Did you recently see some green dye in Winona Lake?

The city of Warsaw said some initial concerns came in after the dye was seen in the lake. Officials said the wastewater treatment utility maintenance crew conducted a routine dye testing near Rabb Water Systems at East Jefferson Street and Argonne Road on Thursday.

Some of the green dye discharged into the north side of Winona Lake, but officials say the green dye used is biodegradable and has no negative impact to the water quality or wildlife of Winona Lake.
