WARSAW — Titus Funeral Home and L.I.T.E Recovery of Milford will be hosting a grief book club with author Thomas L. Rose, author of “Balloon in a Box — Coping with Grief.”
L.I.T.E. stands for Living In Transition Effectively and is a support program based in Milford for those reentering society after being incarcerated. The program took root in 2003.
A kickoff event will be held on Jan. 22 at 6 p.m. at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 Sheridan Street in Warsaw.
“Balloon in a Box — Coping with Grief” is a version of Rose’s own journal about the grief of losing his wife. Rose will speak beginning at 6 p.m. He’ll take time afterwards for questions, comments and sharing.
Every week following, the club will meet and use the book to discuss more in depth conversation on Mondays at 6 p.m. at Titus Funeral Home in Warsaw and every Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Titus Funeral Home in Syracuse.
The events are free and open to the public. Copies of the book will be available.
