Hydrant Flushing Scheduled Through Weekend

Indiana American Water will begin flushing it’s water distribution system starting on Tuesday, September 17th and it will go through Sunday, September 22nd.

During this time, customers may experience periods of discoloration and pressure fluctuation during the flushing periods. Customers are asked to avoid doing laundry during these times. Customers with questions or concerns can contact Indiana American Water at 800-492-8373.

The flushing schedule will go as this:

Tuesday, September 17th – 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
– County Road 350 North to Anchorage Road
— Shelden Street and North Detroit Street, including Northwest Woods at the Crossing
– Anchorage Road to Meijer Store
— Bell Drive and County Road 200 North to Husky Trail including Canterbury Apartments
– US Route 30 to Madison School, including McElroy Hill Business Park

Wednesday, September 18th – 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
– Husky Trail from Harrison Ridge to Patterson Road including Mariners Drive. Also includes the entire hospital area
– North Detroit Street from Anchorage Road to Canal Street
— Arthur Street, East Sheridan Street, East Clark Street to North Cleveland Street. Also includes the Hodges Addition

Thursday, September 19th – 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
– Parker Street and Argonne Road from Dubois Street to Durbin Street
— Argonne Road to South Maple Avenue
– North Buffalo Street from Canal Street to Eagle Creek. High Street to West Street.
— Also includes the entire downtown area

Friday, September 20th – 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
– East Fort Wayne Street to East Center Street
– North Detroit Street to North Bronson Street
– East Center Street extension to Paths of Deerfield
– Hand Avenue to Winona Lake
– West Market Street to Smith Street

Saturday, September 21st – 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
– All of Boggs and Phillips Additions
– All of Winona Lake

Sunday, September 22nd – 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM
– Eagle Creek to County Road 200 South and South Union Street to Ranch Road
– Argonne Road going east to County Road 250 East and US Route 30 and Old Road 30 East
