Illinois Police Looking for Woman in Northeast Indiana

A woman wanted on charges of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance is north central Illinois is believed to be in northeast Indiana.

The Peru, Illinois Police Department is looking for information on 27-year old Tiffany Waltz, who they believe fled to northeast Indiana and possibly working at a meat packing plant. Waltz is said to be a white female, 5 foot 7 inches with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information on Waltz is asked to contact the Peru, Illinois Police Department at 815-223-2151.

Police Chief Doug Bernabei said of the investigation, “This case is yet another part of the Peru Police Departments ongoing commitment to the community in targeting heroin and other narcotic distribution in our area. We will continue our enforcement efforts working with our law enforcement partners and it is my genuine belief that numerous arrests over the past several months will continue until such time that we eliminate heroin distribution the community.  The city of Peru will simply not tolerate the distribution of heroin and other dangerous drugs in our community.”

Peru, Illinois is located approximately 90 miles west of Chicago on Interstate 80.
