VisitIndiana.com says two places in Michiana have made Midwest Living Magazine‘s Ultimate Bucket List of must-see attractions around this part of the country.
The list of 100 attractions included five attractions from the Hoosier State.
Among them, the unique fusion of trendy small towns and Amish culture in the Elkhart region. The magazine trumpeted the trendy restaurants, shops, and good times, saying visitors can “travel backroads to discover family-owned shops, colorful Quilt Gardens and horse-drawn buggies traveling rural landscapes. But this region is more than Amish.”
Also, the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, annually rated as one of America’s best beaches for families, made the list. The magazine says “Rolling sand dunes are the backdrop to swimming, hiking and biking along Lake Michigan in the northwest corner of the state.”
