Attorney General Curtis Hill has reached a $120 million consent judgement with Johnson & Johnson and Depuy.

He and 45 other attorneys general allege that Depuy engaged in unfair practices in promotion of some of its hip implant devices by overstating their longevity.

Of the two models in question, one was recalled in 2010 and the other was discontinued from sale in 2013.

Indiana will receive $3.5 million in the settlement, and Depuy will also reform how it markets hip implants moving forward.
