JCAP starts anew with class of female inmates

WARSAW — Kosciusko County Sheriff Jim Smith helped kick off the newest class for the women’s JCAP Wednesday.

Smith said he was overwhelmed by the excitement in the participant’s faces when he addressed them Wednesday morning and said he appreciates the community support as well as the efforts and dedication of JCAP Coordinator Casey Trombley.

Trombley said she was excited to get the women’s chemical addiction program re-started.

Trombley said she could see the hope and positivity within the group. Casey and looks forward to giving updates about the group over the next 16 weeks.

The class marks the first under Smith and Trombley.
