Judge, State Rep candidates speak on first night of forum

The first of two candidate forums hosted by the Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce and the Kosciusko County Bar Association was held last night at Warsaw City Hall.

Those speaking included Chad Miner and Tony Garza, who are vying for the Kosciusko Superior Court III Judge position. On the state level, Laura Fred-Smith and Stacey Donato spoke for State Senator in the 18th district, Craig Snow was the lone candidate for State Representative in the 18th district as his opponent, Chad Harris, did not show, and Curt Nisly and Kelly Thompson for the 22nd district.

REPLAY: Night 1 of the Kosciusko County Candidates Forum

A replay of the forum will be up on the News Now Warsaw Facebook page. The second half of the candidates forum will be held tonight, which will include incumbent Cary Groninger and Travis McConnell for Commissioner of the Middle District in Kosciusko County, along with the six people vying for three of the three county council at large seats.
