Juneteenth Program Set for Saturday in Warsaw

One Warsaw and the African and Black Leaders for Excellence (ABLE) employee resource group of Zimmer Biomet are hosting a Juneteenth program and dinner tomorrow night in Warsaw.

The event begins at 6pm at the Shrine Building at the fairgrounds. The program is free thanks to sponsor Zimmer Biomet, but for $10 per person, you can buy a dinner of pulled pork, macaroni and cheese and coleslaw provided by Big C’s Catering.

Juneteenth is a day to celebrate the emancipation of enslaved people in the US that dates back to the end of the Civil War in 1865.
