Kosciusko County Commissioners, attorney address concerns over recent Biden 2nd amendment actions

Kosciusko County Courthouse.

The Kosciusko County Commissioners, along with the Sheriff, will be looking to take up an ordinance regarding citizens’ concerns over President Joe Biden’s recent Second Amendment actions.

County Attorney Ed Ormsby read off an announcement at Tuesday’s commissioners meeting. The announcement takes aim at Biden’s announcements regarding ghost guns, red flag laws, the banning of assault weapons and high capacity magazines, firearm restrictions, and more.

At the next commissioners meeting on April 27th, the county is expected to take up a resolution to state its policy on the right of the people to keep and bear arms under the Second Amendment. The county passed an amendment in December designating Kosciusko County as a “Second Amendment Sanctuary County.”
