Two Kosciusko County Deputies are being awarded for their service in the Drug Recognition field.
A press release from the Sheriff’s Department says Detective/Sgt. Shane Bucher and Corporal Mike Fowler were honored with both equipment and service awards at a recent training conference in Indianapolis to recertify as Drug Recognition Experts.
Detective Shane Bucher was presented with a 10 year service award for his service to the field, and Corporal Mike Fowler was presented a 5 year service award for his service to the field.
Both Deputies were presented with equipment valued over $1,000 to continue to provide the services of a Drug Recognition Expert to our area.
