For the time being, the Kosciusko County Fair will be happening this summer.

That’s according to Fair Board President Shane Checketts, who says they are still planning on holding the fair in accordance with the Governor’s orders and plans and as long as the Back on Track Indiana plan is in Stage 5 by the date.

The fair is planned to happen July 12th-18th.

He says staff and volunteers will be practicing social distancing and will be encouraging those who attend the fair to do the same. Additional sanitization will be taking place and other additional options will be available, while other plans are still in development.

The fair website and Facebook page will continue to have more information on it. Some of the events still included for the year are the midway rides, grandstand events, and some on grounds entertainment, as well as the antique tractor ride and exhibit.
