Kosciusko County GOP to fill Monroe Trustee’s seat

A Republican caucus is being organized to fill the vacancy created after the resignation of Monroe Township Trustee Josh Spangle, who moved out of the township.

Spangle’s resignation is  effective March 15.

Kosciusko County Republican chairman Mike Ragan says the caucus will convene in the old courtroom at the Kosciusko County Courthouse, Warsaw, at 7 p.m. March 13.

Eligible members of the caucus include Republican precinct committeemen from Monroe Township who have served continuously beginning at least 30 days before the caucus.

The new trustee will be elected by secret ballot by the majority of caucus members.

Declarations of candidacy are available at the office of Kosciusko County Clerk of the Circuit Court, and must be filed with the Ragan by March 10.
