The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department honored three of its own retiring employees on Friday after numerous years of service.
Kosciusko County Sheriff Aaron Rovenstine celebrated the careers of three employees recently. Rovenstine stated that all three ladies “were truly dedicated & loyal to the department. They had been instrumental in the backbone of the department, working in venues that most people might choose not to.” Rovenstine acknowledged Jaynn Stoops (jail division nurse), Helen Tribalski (jail division kitchen/cook), and Norma “Jean” Sleeth (work release center kitchen/cook). The sheriff also stated that Sleeth had originally started in the jail division and then moved out to the work release center after it was established on the east side of Warsaw.
The three ladies were honored Friday with a retirement party at the Kosciusko County Justice Building by numerous officers, employees, family, and members of the community for their many years of service to the department.
