Two Arrested On Meth Charges In Kosciusko County

Kosciusko County officials arrested two men last evening on meth related charges in the town of Pierceton.

Kosciusko County Drug Task Force officers responded to the location of 211 South Washington Street, Pierceton, last evening shortly after 9 p.m. after receiving an anonymous report related to a potential active methamphetamine lab.  Undercover officers arrived, and immediately observed two male subjects combining items together in a one-pot method methamphetamine lab inside a garage.  The homeowner, Todd Alan Kinch, 50, and Brenton Eli Hensley, 42, Warsaw, were taken into custody without incident.  Kinch and Hensley were both arrested and preliminarily charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, a class 4 felony.  Both men are being held on individual $10,250 bonds in the Kosciusko County Jail at the present time.

The Kosciusko County Drug Task Force was assisted with the arrest by members of the Warsaw Narcotics Unit, Winona Lake Police, Indiana State Police Meth Lab Team, Pierceton Police Department, and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s and Prosecutor’s Offices.

The Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office advises that the defendant’s charge is merely an accusation and that the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
