Large Donation Given To Notre Dame From Alumnus

A graduate of Notre Dame has given $35 million to the university to endow the head football coaching position and fund building construction.

Richard Corbett, who is president and CEO of Florida-based Concorde Companies., earned a bachelor's degree in history from Notre Dame in 1960. He gave $25 million toward an anthropology, psychology and digital media building, which is under construction near the football stadium.

The 280,000-square-foot building will be named Corbett Family Hall, which is part of the Campus Crossroads project that began last fall.
