Latest Poll Has Indiana Governor’s Race At A Virtual Tie

The latest poll has the Indiana governor’s race at a virtual tie, Evan Bayh winning the U.S. Senate race and Donald Trump leading big over Hillary Clinton. The Monmouth University Poll was released Wednesday. In the gubernatorial race, Lt. Gov. Eric Holcomb has 42 percent and John Gregg has 41 percent of the votes so far.

Former senator Evan Bayh leads Congressman Todd Young 48 to 41 percent. And in the Presidential race, Republican nominee Donald Trump leads Democrat Hillary Clinton by a 47 to 36-percent margin, with Libertarian Gary Johnson coming in at 10-percent. The university says Pence is likely boosting Trump and believes that’s the difference in an election year where Indiana voters don’t like either candidate.
