The owner of the Papa John’s locations in Warsaw, Plymouth, Wabash, Columbia City, and Auburn is being nationally recognized.

Pizza NE1 has been named the Franchisee of the Year at the Papa John’s annual operators’ conference in Nashville recently.

Pizza NE1 Owner Steve Mattingly says its an honor.

“It is truly a tribute to our amazing team, work environment, quality of product, great service and to our customers and our community,” he explains.

The local company was selected for the award for “consistently demonstrating commitment to serving superior-quality pizza, world-class customer service and outstanding community involvement,” according to a Papa John’s press release.

“Our franchisees across the globe do an excellent job delivering on our brand promises, and it is an honor to recognize their efforts,” Papa John’s CEO Steve Ritchie said. “These winners constantly raise the bar as role models for the entire Papa John’s franchise system.”
