One of the global medical technology leaders, Medtronic, will be moving some jobs out of their Warsaw facility to other facilities within their operations network.

Company spokesperson Michelle Claypool said in an e-mail to News Now Warsaw that the company “consistently evaluates our operations to advance growth, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen our position for the future.”

The Warsaw plant will remain open and continue to manufacture other products according to Claypool’s e-mail. “We recognize the strong work, dedication, and quality of the Warsaw team and are providing employee assistance to help impacted employees through the transition.”

Claypool said they currently do not have a specific number of impacts currently as “the total impact to employees may change over the life cycle of the project, which will occur in phases over approximately the next two years.”
