According to The Paper of Wabash County, the Metropolitan School District of Wabash County School Board has no plans to reconfigure it’s district in 2017.
Superintendent Mike Keaffaber announced that there are no plans to reorganize the school district in the 2017-2018 school year.
The board initially approved to reconfigure Northfield Jr./Sr. High and Southwood Jr./Sr. High schools into one and close Sharp Creek Elementary School last month.
The school board rescinded its motion after learning that it had violated Indiana’s Open Door Law.
