Winter Story Time

Milford Public Library is gearing up for our Winter Story Time.  Story Time is for children ages three to six, it introduces the love of books to children, and prepares them for learning in an educational setting. The staff reads a few stories to the children, we make a craft and have a snack.  Each week has its own theme and we try to read stories based on the theme, as well as the snack and craft. There are several options, Wednesday, February 5 – March 11 at 10:15 AM or 1:30 PM and Thursday, February 6 – March 12 at 7:00 PM. The library wants all children to be able to attend. Sign up at the Children’s Circulation Desk beginning January 24.  No library card is needed to participate and is free to everyone.

Available Services

The Milford Public Library provides many different services to the community.  For a fee, the library can make copies, fax, scan documents and laminate items for those in the community.  The library also has wireless access, public computers, as well as computer help. All of these services are provided to patrons with or without a library card.  The library wants to serve the community as much as possible. The friendly staff is always willing to help you find a great movie or music CD to listen to, or give suggestions on books and audiobooks to read. If you need a cake pan, check out the selection at the library. We have lots of molds to choose from, and you simply check them out just like any other material.  The library is here for your use, please take advantage of this fantastic place!
