Lakeland Christian Academy will have Pam Tebow, the mother of Tim Tebow, speak at the Wagon Wheel Theatre on May 10.

The fundraiser aims to help the school meet its 2017-18 budget since tuition does not cover all of its expenses.

Pam Tebow has a degree in journalism and communication from the University of Florida.

She and her husband Bob have five children, including outspoken Christian Heisman Trophy winner, NFL football player, ESPN commentator and professional baseball player Tim Tebow.

The Tebows lived for a number of years as missionaries in the Philippines, where Bob continues to have an ongoing ministry in addition to an orphanage. The Tebows also have ongoing ministries in several semi-closed Asian countries, where they encourage their national partners, speak at conferences, and support orphanages, Bible schools, and a safe house they founded for rescued girls.

Pam has spoken for various events including the National Pro-life March in Washington 2018. Her notoriety increased when ESPN aired a portion of an interview with Pam that focused on her refusal to abort Tim when she was advised to do so.

She has also appeared on “Good Morning America” and won national awards, including Eagle Forum’s Woman of the Year and Witness in the Public Square in 2012, Commission for Women Inspiring Woman of the Year in 2013 and Extraordinary Woman of the Year in 2014.

Tickets will go on sale through the Wagon Wheel box office on Tuesday. LCA wants to sell all 846 tickets. Order tickets through the Wagon Wheel box office at 574-267-8041 or online at www.wagonwheelcenter.org.

Two types of tickets will be available. The first is an advanced general admission ticket to the event for $25 each, and the second is a VIP ticket that will allow the purchaser to attend a special invitation-only reception to meet Pam personally, have a photo taken with her, and enjoy an array of appetizers. The VIP tickets are $100 each and includes special seating at the event. The reception will be at Grace College.
