North Webster Library resumes curbside service at its new facility

North Webster Community Public Library is resuming curbside service beginning July 6 at its new facility located at 110 E. North Street, immediately south of the North Webster Community Center. Curbside pickup of requested books, audio books and DVDs will be available 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday. The new building remains closed to the public as the staff works to prepare the new facility for opening. An opening date will be announced soon.

To request items for pick-up, patrons are invited to visit the library’s website at www.nweb.lib.in.us and browse the online catalog. They can then place holds on items from the library’s website using their online library account. They can also request items by calling and leaving a voice message at 574-834-7122 option 1 or sending an email to info@nweb.lib.in.us. When calling or emailing, please include a phone number. Patrons will be notified when their items are ready and given instructions on pick up procedures. Up to ten items per library card can be checked out.

To reduce person-to-person contact, returned items must be put in the drop box located on the circle drive at the main entrance of the new library building. Following federal Center for Disease Control guidelines, items are cleaned and quarantined for patron safety.
