A grassroots movement is underway at Notre Dame in an effort to make the campus more LGBTQ-friendly. Members of a group called “Out At ND” has launched an equal-rights campaign with the release of an “Out and Proud” video. The video release is in conjunction as oral arguments are being presented to the Supreme Court in a landmark marriage equality case. The video urges others to get involved with the movement to create a visible and open safe space for other LGBTQ individuals on campus.
