The old grass is gone and new artificial turf will soon be installed at Notre Dame. Workers have already begun the process of preparing the grounds. The stadium made the announcement a while back, and proceeded to even sell the old turf away one strip at a time. Crews were on hand earlier this week at the stadium to lay down rubber padding for the new turf.
