Indiana State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting that happened in Syracuse shortly before 5 p.m. Friday.
27-year-old Dale Harner was arrested in connection to the incident.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office says he was refusing verbal commands and brandished a firearm before a SWAT member fired two shots toward him.
The Times-Union reports there were no injuries related to the shooting, but Harner was treated at KCH for K-9 bite wounds.
