Police Cracking Down On Stopping For School Buses

Indiana State Police troopers say they've seen an increase in the number of drivers failing to stop for school buses. Their message: When the school bus stop arm is out… you need to stop or you'll face a $300 ticket. Police say unless there is a divider in the roadway like a concrete or grass median between opposing lanes of traffic, all lanes must stop for school buses. Some officers say they're having to issue several tickets every day.
