Positive case rate takes slight fall, despite 650 new cases in Indiana

There were 650 new COVID-19 cases reported in Indiana in the Thursday update from the State Department of Health. Despite that, the percentage of positive cases fell.

4,316 new tests were reported to the state, bringing the total of tests completed to 124,782. The positive case rate fell to 18.0 percent, down one-tenth of a percent from Wednesday, and the slow decline has been seen over the past couple of weeks from when the rate was near 20 percent.

The total number of cases in the state now stands at 22,503. 31 more deaths were also reported in the state to raise the total to 1,295.
